I believe they already tried to shut down the yahoo groups in general. Shortly after the site went down, I went to the groups but I couldn't get the page up for a long time, and it kept saying that I had connection issues, but there was nothing wrong with my internet connection because other websites where working just fine. I eventually got the page up though.

I made it work so when you click on a link it will takes you to your offline copy instead of the online one. That way you can navigate on your offline jos website like you normally would with the online one. You don't need an internet connection.
Just a few external links are not working, if you get lost you can look for the files directly.

To get is started just open any .html file, or index.html at the root directory which will take you to the home page.

I posted this in the other active thread regarding this topic. I also added a bit at the bottom.

If saving offline browseable versions of sites, always archive the entire site in a strong-passworded archive and save this archive on several different servers, e.g. upload the archive as attachments to email accounts and email them to yourself (you might need to split the archive into parts to upload them as email attachments), and also upload the archive to Dropbox, Mega, Drive, etc. Give the archive filename an innocuous-looking name. If they happen to be deleted from your computer, then you can just re-download them, input your password, and extract them to browse them offline again.

You can use WinRAR or 7Zip to archive and password them. There are others available, but in my opinion these are the best two (which I have used). When archiving, try and use the best (highest/strongest) archiving options, which will take longer to archive but will result in a smaller file size to upload and download. Make sure you don't forget the password! Write it down on paper and keep it somewhere, or make up a sentence and change some letters into symbols (using 1337, for example). An example could be -

Use uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers and symbols -

That might be too complex to remember, so use a simple phrase that you know and which no-one can guess. Using Password as a password would take no time to crack; trying P@s5w0rd! would take 4 weeks to crack, according to howsecureismypassword.net. I wouldn't trust putting in the actual password, so I'd use the same type of password or passphrase, but using different uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols to check it. (It also doesn't say if this is a home computer or big supercomputers which are being used to crack them, so assume this is only a home computer.)

What I forgot to add in that other topic is to also save the offline browseable sites to a USB stick and burn them to CD, DVD or BRD, as well. You could either use the discs as browseable media (making sure that the reference to each file and folder is correct to the Drive Letter of your CD/DVD/BRD-ROM drive), which cannot be erased because if you burn to a read-only (writeable) disc, then it is read-only; and/or use the discs as backups of the archives, as well. The only problem with read-only here is that it is read-only - you cannot update any new things on the browseable pages, so you'd have to burn it all again to a new disc. It might be possible to continue burning to the remainder of a disc after a previous burn has finished, so while the previous version is still intact and out-of-date, you could burn to the remainder of the disc with the new, corrected information - just remember to open those files instead of the old ones! Re-writeable discs can be erased and re-written a number of times (say 1000 times), but I am not certain if they can be erased mysteriously or not while they are in the drive.

All you need to do is get a rar file (I have these too but I have been working on another matters as of present) and you can forward them to my e-mail.

If you struggle as to where to upload the RAR file, you can find numerous hosting sites online. Just write file upload site, you upload your RAR/ZIP and it will give you a link. Then, pass that link. It's all very easy.
