Hello, brothers and sisters, I’ve been thinking about this and was inspired to write about it here on the forums, these words apply to me before anyone else as well.
I was present on the JoS forums and Yahoo groups a long time, ever since I was a very young and naive passionate kid, and then when I was a learning teenager until now.
No more are the days where Joy of Satan is upholded by very few tireless individuals.
I remember the days when the only person that kept JoS alive and surviving was High Priest Hooded Cobra’s work, early days and late nights, funding of his own money, taking slander and doing what needs to be done for the Gods, community, and JoS.
This is not to discredit some important and good people like Shannon or the clergy at the time.
But I remember the days where a few so called “High Priests” didn’t even deserve half the name and were either fraudsters or just lazy.
I look at the JoS now, and I know no member who’s a friend of mine on these forums who is not a part of the Joy of Satan’s growth and team.
Whether it’s translations, web development, editing, donating, answering the community, creating media for the JoS, doing outreach and marketing projects, and much more.
It’s no longer HP Hooded Cobra, and… who else?
Now I look and it’s HP HC, HPS Lydia, Guardians, Clergy, Mods, Outreachers, Translators, Contributors, Donators, Community helpers, growing members, etc, etc.
It’s no longer some members come here and claim they are hot spiritual shit. You have to prove your value to the community with actions not words.
Nowadays you also get rewarded profusely for what you give. Not just with giving money but with everything else and infinitely more.
But even with money I remember when I was donating to JoS on Paypal monthly on Hps Maxine’s email back in 2021.
I was happy I was donating, but I really never even knew if the email was actually still working for donations, does the JoS still accept donations? Are my donations valued? But I just kept donating with only my faith of a small chance that I might be helping the JoS and the Gods.
Now everything’s a huge upgrade, not only do I get to donate knowing my payments are secure in crypto and anonymous, but I get rewarded with limited edition PDFs from HP HC? Sign me up! And I can even get donor-level status doing other stuff helping the JoS like translations or outreach? Woah!
I just had this feeling and inspiration from the observation of everything while doing the RTR schedule today, especially after so many years and comparison between the F-RTR schedule then and now.
I recommend everyone who hasn’t already to participate in helping the JoS and join our team! Just being dedicated to Satan is not enough, there’s a world of positive opportunities that’s waiting to open up to you!
Translate, do outreach, help the JoS as much as you can we are a startup and we’re growing exponentially so get on the ground up!
Now I want to thank @Hp. Hoodedcobra666 because I’m pretty sure it’s often taken fore granted how incredible of a man (Hero?) he really is and was to the JoS and crucial to its survival and kept it thriving and I’m glad he’s our leader.
I also remember the endless times I went to him with even a personal problem or even an emotional rant and was treated with kindness, wisdom, empathy, and guidance, despite him being endlessly busy or having no real obligation to respond to some teenager. He really is the father of the JoS and this community!
