I mean just compare the two and it looks like they are twins.

But I think its the other way around. Amish are a sect of xtianity which in turn is a sect of judaism.

Yes they work hard, but their work is the old testament kind, like you're in this world to work to death and suffer. Also they fear technology & science and the only thing they read is the bable. Feudal mentality.

Only good thing they have their way, is they're better off than most in a society collapse event.
