This link above was one of the most important reasons I decided to go
through with the dedication the day before my birthday, which was a
little more than two months ago.  I would have done it earlier, but
for certain reasons I could not do it indoors, and the dealing with
the snow forced me to postpone handling it outdoors.

The rest of the day was uneventful, and relatively peaceful.  The next
day, though, I woke up with severe pain in my left eye and had to take
the next two days off.  It was the result of an abrasion.  I believe
this was a retaliatory strike from remote viewers or handlers, and not
from angels (this was not the first time I ran into this type of
situation, and I don't know exactly why this started).  Due to my
years of distrust of most people, I can't share what it was that I
believe precipatated this attack.  I can say that this has been an
ongoing battle, and I've pretty much had enough and would like to
start living "normally" for the first time and not have to constantly
watch over my back and overthink things.

I wish I had come across the advice to keep quiet long ago, back
before the Internet started expanding the way it did during the mid
1990s.  It was a shame, because I had no frame of reference for
certain experiences, and I could only explain things in terms of what
I thought came closest to what I experienced.  As an example, how
would you explain an experience involving clairaudience when you've
never heard of the word to begin with?

Of course, because I didn't understand what I was really going through
at the time and explained it to people who were ignorant or worse, I
ended up in the psych ward of a hospital for a few months, then spent
the next couple of years or so dealing with a psychologist who didn't
understand and would rather spend time diverting my attention to what
I now consider bogus matters.

And how did I get out of there?  Simple.  I figured out what the
doctors were looking for, and I just played along.  Then, they see how
I "recovered", and that was that.

It wasn't like I was bragging - I just couldn't make sense of anything
back then.  Apparently no one I knew in those days had similar
experiences.

This, plus years of being told "no, it's not possible" by ignorant
scum and receiving nothing but lies from whatever entities that were
communicating with me via automatic writing and later clairaudience,
makes it very difficult for me to "snap out of it", even after
dedication.  As much as I want to communicate with the Gods, I still
worry that it's not happening. . . that there is still astral scum out
there posing as whatever and whoever to keep blocking me from what I
want to do.  I have already read and understood how the Gods hate
impostors and how they deal with them, and how I should protect
myself, but protecting myself (among other things) is not always that
simple – I’ll explain very shortly.  I also wonder if there is a way
to tell the difference between genuine communication via clairaudience
and telepathy and fake communication that is the result of
psychotronics.

There are quite a few things which I experienced but they ended up
being one-time events; I'm blocked from experiencing them again.  I
don’t know for certain why that happened and why it is still
happening.  For instance, I’m getting interference when I try to
visualize something, it’s like whatever it is doesn’t seem to stick –
but the first couple of times it will seem okey.  I can no longer do
yoga nidra without going to sleep, something that never happened the

I was once a Catholic, too, or at least I thought I was.  I stopped
believing when I couldn't find a thing about kundalini.  Not a single
Church document about it, not even one condemning it - but there were
many teachings against occult practices.  Strange.  There were a few
ongoing problems whose solutions I could not find by doing things its
way.  I can’t recall any prayers working for me if they ever dealt
with my needs (but they were sometimes answered if they were prayers
for others).  And, I have to say, the Catholic Church ceased to exist
after the so-called pope known as Paul VI signed the Vatican II
documents, which contained teachings which contradicted the official
teachings.  It was like they were saying that their church is no
longer infallible, or was not infallible to begin with.  But they keep
on with the charade, and I know this because I did my research and
know quite a bit of stuff about the reactionaries who want to continue
the traditional, pre-Vatican II way of doing things, such as going to
Latin Mass.  (Most of them say they're Catholic but live secularly.)
Yes, the Church teaches say that heresy results in automatic
excommunication, yet these people – traditionalist or modernist -
commit heresy by either accepting the teachings of Vatican II, or make
up their own rules and teachings.  Heretics and hypocrites indeed.

Anyway, there has been a sense of peace for a while.  I went to the
ophthamologist for a follow-up two days after the abrasion incident,
and after my left eye was examined, I was told that there was great
improvement - even though I didn't use the medicine for half of that
day because of non-stop stuff going on at work - I could not get a few
minutes for a break so I could put drops of medicine in my eye.  My
vision has been improving since.  And the attacks on my eyes have gone
down as well; for this I am grateful.

There are a few things I wanted to share (not right away), but I don’t
know how much can be shared – I know about infiltrators and already
have enough problems in my day-to-day life as I feel there are people
who are still deliberately trying to do harm to me in one way or
another.  Yet I would like to help some folks here whenever I can, and
whenever necessary, share as much as I can so that someone can give me
good advice if I am requesting it.

I have just joined this group.
My name is Peter- I am a satanist and I have taken the JOS dedication however I did give myself to Satan 30 years ago (when I was 18).
I believe in Satan as God- therefore to be worshipped- and father.
I believe in the demons of Hell and in Hell itself- I hope on my death I will enter Hell.
I am very much a traditionlist and belive in symbolism and ritual, and what I am certainly NOT interested in is some xian trying to save my soul= I belong to Satan.

I was reading your post, and one way to keep astral entities out of your hair when doing divination by any means, is to invoke the Four Crowned Princes of Hell, and invite the Forces of Hell to be with you. (Don't forget to close the ritual, going clockwise afterwards. =)This way, any (negative) energies/entities that are NOT of Father Satan will not be able to get through.

Glad to hear your eyes doing better. The enemy Greys like to scrape the insides of my stomach, as well as my eye sockets, for whatever reason. I know the feeling, dry and abrasive.

Keep working at your meditations. I know that when I try to clean or clear my aura and chakras, I am met with resistence. This is from the enemy. Keep at it. You are strong, and you will be able to do this.
As for the Yoga Nidra meditation. How are you finding it? I have one Yoga Nidra meditation cd, haven't used it yet. I am capable of falling asleep too, when listening to meditation cds, lol.
But do you do it lying down (which makes one more susceptible to sleeping) or sitting up, in a good chair or on a meditation cushion?

This is a tricky one. For the longest time, I thought I was talking to certain angels/demons/Gods, when it was the enemy all along.
The enemy Greys and angels can impersonate other Gods and Demons TO A DEGREE, just to get you off track. Only recently, did I realize this.
What I meant, "to a degree", is that once you feel the presence of Father Satan and the Gods, who are all VERY powerful, you will know Their presence for sure, and know that NO ENTITY CAN IMITATE THEM.
If we have never felt the presence of the Gods, it is easy to mistake the enemy for Them. The enemy loves to let us assume. Always ask, always demand, always question, to make sure it is the Gods or the Demons of Hell.
If you are not sure, you can always say, "Swear on your TRUE NAME that you serve Father Satan, and that you are under His rule."
If They are of Father, They will do it PRONTO.
If not, they will dilly and dally and hesistate. Or just get mad. That's how you will know who They are.
A God's/Demon's true name is power. To know it is to control Them.
That's why no one knows it.
To SWEAR on it, though, is pretty serious. Oaths by Demons, and the Gods, are NOT to be taken lightly. It's pretty serious.

There's also the trick of identifying what is your own inner voice, that you hear in your head when you think or talk to yourself, and when you are carrying a conversation with a God/Demon.

Doing meditation helps. Especially, the void meditation. Just being in the moment, and focusing on the here and now, when you cannot sit at your altar.
And knowing, whether from past experiences or present, how the Gods and Demons communicate with YOU personally.
For some Satanists, they see Gods and Demons face to face, in the physical world, or hear Them clearly. Or visit Them on the astral, and talk to Them. For others, the Gods and Demons talk to us through other people (IM, email, messaging, in person) or through other mediums, like books, magazines, movies, etc. that They have led us to read or watch, concerning a problem we might have prayed to Them about, or that is concerning us.
Myself, Father Satan and the Gods talk to me through other people, mostly through IM and email.
My GD talks to me directly sometimes, or leads me to read or watch certain movies or books. Sometimes the message is in a magazine or the side of a bus, lol. It's just being aware and knowing THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS COICIDENCE.

I'd like to just briefly introduce myself. I've been practicing Satanism for a while now. Have been in occult groups and understand a little about the subject. Vaguely familiar with the Joy of Satan website. Still much to learn though. Just wanted to wish the group a wonderful Beltane again.

My name is Janet and I just wanted to say hello and say a few things about myself. I am a 47 year-old recent convert to Theistic Satanism. I was Christian for many years and I am even married (for now) to a Baptist minister. I had always felt the presence of my Lord Satan in my life, but I repressed my true feelings and my true self. But finally, about 6 months ago, I renounced Christ and accepted Satan as my Lord. It has been wonderful and every day I feel His presence getting stronger. I am totally committed to serving Satan and being his child. I would enjoy talking to fellow believers and becoming the best I can be for Him.

I'm new here myself. I performed the Dedication Ritual last night. Like you, I was a Xtian for many years. After the sudden illness and death of my only child, I finally started waking up. I am thankful, sort of, for the xtian family members and other xtians who said such hateful things after her death, because that's what started me thinking and helped me to shed that filth.

Sorry about your daughter Daedalus, I lost my brother 4 years ago. Having Satan in my life and knowing the truth of the after-life and reincarnation, and the ability to communicate with our loved ones after they pass on, makes it much easier to cope with.

Hello my name Is Dalton Duncan,

Ever since i was about 9 i have been drawn to the occult and all things deemed "evil" by the Judeo/Christian Trash. I've always known that something was wrong with it and that i wasn't doing what I was being called to do. Last Night I converted to True Satanism after 19 years of christian lies. I Have never been happier in my life than I am now! I have a couple questions:

1. How do I....well.. Practice Satanism?

2. Are there any local meetings or other events on a large or small scale?

3. When I was about 7 I started seeing what i called "birds" watching me from the trees, and my astral temple always has birds chirping in the background. I was wondering if there are any Demons that are associated with birds, and if there are what is/are His/Her/Their sigil/s?

To begin practicing Satanism, start a meditation and yoga program. Be consistent and do it everyday. It's better to keep to a routine and build on it, once you do it. If you can only do 20 minutes, start with that. If one hour, keep with that.For example, aura of protection, void meditation, foundation meditation, opening your chakras (in the order on JoS), and doing breathing exercises.Keep a journal of good things that happen in your life, or when you talk to Lord Satan in ritual (preferably done weekly) and you notice how things become better after dedicating.This will help you as a reminder in thanksgiving rituals to Lord Satan. And also, when you look back in the journal, you will see how far you have come, the things you learned, and Lord Satan's and the Powers of Hell in your life.
There are no local meetings from JoSers, small scale or large. Please be careful not to meet anyone online, in person. As JoS has many enemies and infiltrators who would mislead you or tell you lies about True Satanism, or at the very worse, kill you. This is not an exaggeration. Your safety is important. Be careful who you tell in person, about your beliefs, as many people out there (more then people realize) are still deluded about True Spiritual Satanism and would only think the worse of it, due to the jewification of Hollywood and media, as well as many websites and books out there on Satanism and the occult.

Uhm...Hi...Uhh, just wanted to check on what you meant by birds. I dedicated my soul a couple months back but a couple days ago I noticed all these different kinds of birds that I never really noticed before. They were flying but I still got a strange feeling when I was watching them. If you could clarify on what you mean by "Birds"

Hi, my name is Malinia. I am making this introduction because I have never really made a formal introduction before and this is my first time on the Joy Of Satan group I have been on the Teens for about maybe around 2 years now.

I wanted to say I am glad I joined Satanism even through all the hard times I would never go back.  So I have two questions but for know I will just ask one. I keep seeing the time 11:11 a lot is this just a coincidence or does this really mean something. I have heard it meant something but I don't know weather to believe that or not. Any idea? And  Hi its nice to meet all of you.       HAIL SATAN!!!

I am not sure if you 'keep' seeing it like really keep seeing it well then it could mean something, this is just my perspective on this. Maybe one of the more experienced members could tell you :)

Perform the Dedication Ritual when you feel ready. If you cannot find the right candle color, forget the "so mote it be" at the end, or make some other minor error, that will not derail your Dedication Ritual. Satan is extremely understanding, unlike the christian god who will throw you into a pit of fire for every little thing, and is not going to come after you for extremely trivial errors.
