India, Hinduism,Health,Satan pagan Please Help!!!

I associate Shiva with Satan I have a statue of shiva ... But today I researched about India and I'm scared, they are so religious and they seem to be pagans, how can the country be so poor and people without hygiene, dirty bathe in a river dirty, I'm scared. I thought that in a country where Christianity doesn't dominate, few are Christians, so I thought it would be something more organized. I temporarily discouraged from Hinduism because how can someone who worships such powerful gods of prosperity live that way? I've been told they pay approximately 200,000 rupees (£2k/$2.5k) to Indians who convert to Christianity, that is inclusive of their family.

I was told this by somebody I worked with. His family is "elite" in India, they have their own temple dedicated to Shani. Unfortunately, this young man did not believe in anything [spirituality], and thought it was all nonsense, preferring the Western world instead. It made me wonder what he did in a previous life to end up in that family, and it was very strange to me that he was not interested in any of it.

They are induced to let go of materialism, we live in a material world, we need what is material to live. And it hurt my soul to see these families in this situation! Let's do justice to fight evil! You seem to have a good understanding of Hinduism and how parts of it relate to JoS. Yoga and pranayama would probably not be around if it were not for the preservation of ancient Sanskrit texts. Western nations would have had equivalent or similar ancient practices. Most of the ancient spiritual artifacts from western countries would have been destroyed by the Inquisition, and they probably had less interest in India at that time, perhaps Indians were not as much of a threat.
