in the dedication ritual, can the candle be a different color?

i only have purple and white candles. is it alright 2 use one of those
instead? will the ritual still work?

What ritual?
I guess purple is alright for dedication. Don't have any blue or reds
lying around?

I just want to give you an idea.

Here is my setup.

I set a pentagram on the floor. I have a dark green candle that I lay
in the center of the pentagram. I set 2 tall standing red candles at
the opposite 2 points of the pentagram. When I am ready to begin the
prayer, I set my sigil down to the left of the pentagram.

I haven't had any luck with summoning a demon yet, but I just started
so I assume everyone has difficulties their first few times.
