Ideas for giving Ancient Forums a boos of publicity

I am making this topic so we can share ideas and ask and answer questions.

We are doing activism and sharing links trough comments on different platforms. What would also help would be a boost of publicity and one idea would be sharing the link in a stream comment. There are all sorts of platforms including youtube I think where if you tip a small sum the comment appears magnified in the middle of the screen above the footage. A thing I would like to try is to make a different bank account whjere I would just put a very small sum of money just to use it for this purpose and be different than my main account (I am a bit paranoid I know).

What do you guys think are the best streaming channels/accounts/people for this purpose? Let's share the here. Even if people don't like what they see, when a thing goes viral it becomes more prone to acceptance, it's the mechanism of social validation under the subconscious. Also you can make the comments seem funny or not serious to be more susceptible to reading them.

That's not paranoid at all but still it won't stop that message from being traced back to you. There are people mostly from Western Europe and US/Canada who do these live streams while playing video games and they have like thousands or tens of thousands of people watching them live, and most of these people are teenagers and generally very young. As you said when someone would donate money, they would have a message displayed on the screen that everybody can see. I was thinking exactly at the same think before, like donating one two bucks to have a message related to JoS displayed on his screen, so it can be seen by thousands of people. But we should not do this if we cannot ensure our anonimity first, and this means:
- Watching that livestream from a different IP and not your real one
- Donate using a payment method that has no direct connection to your real person, like without bank accounts and without `coins` or `currencies` bought using your real bank account. The only way would be to donate with bitcoin or a currency bought from a platform that doesn't have any details about your real person. For example on the platform Paxful you can buy Bitcoin from people without the website knowing what your back details are, only the people you will buy bitcoin from will know.

Anyway in order to be chased in this way, your message would first need to be detected by youtube algorithms and then someone would physically need to see who donated and posted that message and then they would see your bank details that you linked to youtube of Twich or whatever platform and from there they might be able to figure out who you are. If you are using an anonymous method of payment is would also give them a lot more headache to figure out who posted that. While I think is very unlikely to be tracked this way, I still have a doubt and believe that things can go wrong as well.

The idea itself is very good when you find a livestream with thousads of people watching but the donation should be made via an anonymous way of payment to eliminate any danger.

That's an interesting platform, thanks. However, the fees are super expensive, I need 40 euro worth of BTC and I only get about 30 euro worth of it. Is this normal? I looked up a few [anonymous] ways, and it's similar fees. What kind of payment are you using, if I may ask? I don't feel comfortable sending over personal details, like ID and other things some people ask in there. Or even my bank details. I thought the gift cards, such as playstation and whatnot were an excellent idea, but I lose about 10-15 euro every time. Any help would be appreciated as this would be my first time buying.

As far as I remember there is indeed a fee that every seller set depends on their own preferences but definitely is not 25% as in your case, maybe more like around 5-10%, or maybe this tax is set by the website. On paxful when I was buying, one could spend for example 100 dollars and get around 92 dollars worth of bitcoin. That was around 2 years ago, I don't know if these taxes increased since then. Regarding the payment method, Paxful is different to platforms where you buy bitcoin `from the website` so to say. On paxful the bitcoin is purchased from individual people or organizations, and they all have their own preferences regarding ID.

What you need to do, but is quite rare but will likely still find some, is to look for individual people who will sell you bitcoin without any proof of identity. I only bought bitcoin from such people (well I only bought two or three times to buy VPNs). They are private people who understand that bitcoin is supposed to be used anonimously and they won't be asking for any ID documents. They would give you their bank details then you do a bank transfer where you send money from your bank account to their bank account and when they receive the money, they will release the bitcoin in your paxful wallet, a wallet that you automatically receive when you create an account on the platform. From that wallet you can then spend the bitcoin.

Also you will see that other people might not want bank transfer, but maybe amazon giftcards or paypall payment or similar things. I guess the easiest is to do bank transfer or paypall, although the bank transfer will be instant while the paypall might take a while. What I am not sure about, I think when you set up your account, you will have to put the real country where you live so you can receive a list of bitcoin sellers from that country but I am not sure about this one. Anyway most important is to look for sellers who won't be asking for your ID and avoid organizations as they will surely ask for things like passport or driving license or national ID card depending on what country you are based in.

You might be doubting that the seller will indeed release your bitcoin after you send him the money. I think you have an option there in the chatroom (where you communicate with the seller) where you can choose that you haven't received your bitcoin and the site will probably do an investigation, although this doesn't generally happen because when you buy bitcoin you have to offer a feedback about the seller and write your experience. You can check other people's experiences with certain sellers before buying from them so will have a good idea whether the seller is being honest or is a scammer. It hasn't happened to me but I expect the website will either refund you the money, either give the bitcoin you bought if someone is to scame you but scammings don't really happen because as you will see probably the vast majority of sellers have impeccable feedback rating.

The only person who will see your bank details is the person who you buy bitcoin from, which in most cases will be a random dude who is doing business with bitcoin there, they might even have their real picture on the profile and as far as I know, they have to verify their identity with the platform in order to sell bitcoin, which doesn't happen with those who buy bitcoin. He won't know what you do with your bitcoin and generally won't care about your bank details. The platform itself won't know anything about your real identity as long as you use fake information to register (fake name, fake email, I don't know about phone numbers though, they shouldn't ask for it as far as I remember).

Is true you never know what these people might be doing in their private life, whether they might work for an intelligence agency or not, is hard to tell as nobody knows for sure but one thing is clear, he will know you buy bitcoin, which is not big deal as many people are comercializing bitcoin nowadays, but he won't have a clue about what you do with the bitcoin, especially that there are `bitcoin mixer` services where you put your bitcoin that you want to spend, pay a fee of some 0.2-0.5% of your bitcoin to have it mixed with other bitcoin and then add the wallet of the place you want to sell bitcoin to, so it can never be traced back to your paxful wallet. Say you want to buy a VPN, you put your bitcoin in the bitcoin mixer and as destination you add the wallet number of the VPN provider. The service will send to the VPN provider mixed bitcoin that is not the one you purchased from paxful. There are indeed a lot of taxes involved. I remembered now on paxful the taxes can range a lot from 25% as you said to 5% or even smaller. Then add the bitcoin mixer tax if you wish to use it, then the VPN provider might charge a small tax as well. All these taxes led me once to buy a 2 year subscription instead of 3 years because I was left with not enough money for the 3 years price. Alltogether if you find someone with a maximum 10% tax on paxful, you might be spending like $15-20 more for whatever you want to buy if is under $100. Also you will notice every seller has a minimum amount of bitcoin they sell so in case you want to register you will need to pay attention to that as well. Say for example you find someone that doesn't ask for ID and has a small tax but maybe has a minimum limit of 50 dollars while you might only need bitcoin worth of 30-40 dollars.

There is indeed a risk buying from a random dude even if is not asking for ID verification but merely buying bitcoin is not something to be chased or tracked/traced for nowadays when millions of people do bitcoin transactions.

Hi. If you haven't created your account, create it with an email that is not related to your real person in anyway, ideally an email that you created through Tor or a VPN so is not linked to your real IP. As far as I know you might have to login into that email and confirm the account but after that, you won't need to use the email at all to login as there won't any verfication anymore after you create the account. Here you will receive a sort of security key which you will need in case you cannot access your account anymore, is very important to save that key somewhere safe. Either write it on a piece of paper or save it somewhere on the computer or anywhere safe where you will remember where it is.

To upload you will have on top-right of the screen the options to uploaded either a compressed file (zip, 7z, rar etc) either a folder. If you want to upload a large memory folder you might have to download the mega app, install it and upload the big file in your account from the app, if not you can also upload it straight from the website/browser but it will take considerably longer especially if you use Tor.
