How to talk to Satan before doing the ritual?

Is it possible to talk to Satan before then? Or does he prefer that you do the ritual first? and what if you can't do it because of one little thing and you don't understand the whole astral temple thing.

I know before I dedicated I was concerned if it was "right" for me. I had read on the JofS site where HP Maxine had lit a candle and just started asking questions as to whether Satan was real, was for her, etc. I took her advice on this and did the same. I lit a white candle (didn't have any other color type) and stared at the flame. I stated to myself that I only wanted contact from Satan himself, and that no other entity, angel, etc., would be permitted to contact me. Strangley, I actually felt a warm sensation surround me. I explained my background (highly Christian and at the time I was an ordained Reverand), but that I knew something was wrong with what I thought I believed. Very respectfully, I requested from Satan some way that I would know this was the true "path" for me. For two weeks following that meditation, little signs kept showing up. Small ones at first, but ones that showed me without a doubt this was true. I dedicated before the end of the third week and have never regreted since. It took me a little to finally get all of the xtian crap out of my mind (HP Carlson's Exorcising Jehova helped more than I can say), but I have been more free, happier, and my life has improved for the better.

Take your time, think on it seriously, take HP Maxine's advice about meditation on the subject and come to your own conclusion. Even before you decide to dedicate or not, as long as you are respectful in your approach, I believe Satan will show you the truth. He certainly did for me. Good Luck.
