How much time is needed for a spell to manifest? Thank you!

Hi brothers and sisters,
I have been working on a few spells once for all a day and have been casting them for some days already, but I still cannot see dramatic effects. I wonder usually how long does it take for a spell to show its results.
Could you share with me some of your experiences?
