I personally keep myself away from the Horror genre, because i suspect that it has enemy origins. It usually involves the "biblical Satan" being evil and stuff to scare you away from him. And when it doesn't, it is about "abominations born from playing god", such as science's zombies. It also seems to have a reverse effect: making you love creepy stuff to the point of even wanting a lifestyle like that (see the goth subculture or the Reverse Christians that the news labels as "Satanists").
This genre seems to have been based on the superstitious folktales that were common in the Middle Ages and were used to scare people and keep themselves away from our spirituality. They usually associated stuff that Maxine clearly stated that have nothing to do with Satan, such as vampires. The first vampire tale was written in the post-Illuminism London and, i think, it was about parasitism. But tales that came later were pretty much all very xianized.
Another possible origin of this genre seems to be rooted in the preaching of the Catholic Church that took place in the Baroque period. I'll copy and paste a comment that i wrote on a sermon:
"the Catholic clergy organized some sorts of theaters were they would describe, detail by detail, how a corpse decompose after death and other macabre tales, all in order to stimulate the emotions of their cult members and make them cry or feel dread."
I remember reading that a bishop went too far by even wearing a thorn crown (like the one that Rabbi Jewsus wore) and even harmed himself to spill blood in order to simulate the "crucifixion".
Another thing that makes me suspect that horror, and to some extent gothic authors, work for the enemy is the fact that they all did something "wrong":
- Mary Shelley wrote Frankenstein in order to create a socialist version of Prometheus, no wonder why Rabbi Marx liked it. She and her husband also conceived their firstborn on the grave of her mother.
- Bram Stoker, as another SS pointed me in another post, was inspired by a novel written by a jew. He also had friends from The Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn and his Dracula is pretty blasphemous.
- Gustav Meyrink, while not a jew, sympathized with them to the point of being involved in Kabbalah and wrote The Golem who is deeply rooted in their culture. Shame that Evola praised him.
- H. P. Lovecraft was fascinated by Ancient Pagan societies, supported the Third Reich and made popular the Necronomicon, but all the good things that he did stops there. He was pretty much influenced by authors from both Theosophy and The Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn and very few of his writings (if not only one) can actually be considered "pagan", as he portrayed our Gods as "blasphemous entities from outher space" and their followers as insane cultists, even tough some claims that that the Great Old Ones are supposed to be the "protagonists and winners" of his stories. Not only that, he started as an Anglocentric to the point of seeing non-Anglos as inferior. Later in life, he somehow became an anti-racist, stopped supporting NS and even became friends and made some novels with the jews. He even married a jewess, only to divorce with her in his last years.
- Lovecraft's influences were not better. I don't know what to say about Algernon Blackwood, but Arthur Machen did made a blasphemous tale were he portrayed Pan as a pedophile who possesses a girl and makes her become obsessed with sex. I also suspect that The King in Yellow of Robert W. Chambers is a blasphemy to one of our Gods. I also remember that there was also a tale were a 10-year old boy becomes a victim of a "Mithra-worshipping cult".
- I know nothing about The Portrait of Dorian Gray, but Oscar Wilde was a socialist that had a sexual intercourse with an underage 15-year old boy, therefore a pedophile.
Now, about the movies that you mentioned, I've acknowledged their existence during my teen years, despite never watching them, along with Friday the 13 and Nightmare on the Elm Street. However, even if they don't involve "Satanism", i still suspect on them because, as an italian Neo-Nazi blog that i used to follow before becoming an SS wrote: "they would have not existed if it weren't for the jews". That would explain why Stephen King is a good "friend" of Hollywood.
An example of jews involved in Horror Movies would also be Dario Argento, the father of the jewess that started the #MeToo drama.
I may be wrong, but considering that many of this stuff is always rooted in xianity, theosophy or even communism it makes me think that it should be avoided.
