From the alchemical point of view is the overlapping of the fire/masculine energy symbol (upright triangle) and the water/feminine energy symbol (pointed down triangle). The union between the masculine and the feminine, the lower and the upper chakras, the material and the spiritual realms, the base and the crown. This is the key to immortality and an important concept for the understanding of the Magnum Opus. Is a very sacred symbol. Jews stole and desecrated it. I saw a thread of someone who suggested to give up on it and that whoever wanted to use it was under jewish influence and somehow deluded. I don't agree with this. At all. If we had to give up on every symbol the jews corrupted and stole we wouldn't have any, not even the serpent. I think that the male/female aspects with the name of the Gods could be a good interpretation.
