Hand and feet chakras

I read about these chakras and plan to do them after third eye and crown are fully open and powered, i realize this required trance, but i have trouble doing trance and or keeping my eyes shut during it can anyone offer tips on Trance? ive read the whole article on trance and how it feels but it hasnt really helped me any except the breathing exercises Help please! =)
