In my own opinion of this data, it seems the Joy of Satan hasn't really been trending on google since March of 2018. I'm not sure what changed during that period. Google trending probably wouldn't be showing forum activity, but it would represent values of people searching for "Joy of Satan" through google, being a rough indicator of new people coming across the Joy of Satan for the first time without a direct link. It also seems there's less interest in Satanism in general around the same time. In Feb 2022 Satanism was only searched 13x more than Joy of Satan was. Satan is searched minimally 46x more than Joy of Satan. In theory, if JoS was to strongly represent the narrative of "Satanism", it could grow 13x faster. If JoS was to strongly represent the narrative of "Satan", it could grow 46x faster. Easier said than done of course. Trending more than the general topic would be difficult, so I couldn't imagine the Joy of Satan overcoming the interest of the term "Satan". 13x compared to now is 936,000~ forum accounts and 156,000,000 clicks on average. 46x compared to now is 3,312,000~ forum accounts and 552,000,000 clicks on average per month.

What would it take to do that? Nothing short of an inquisition :lol:

That's assuming that Google is not tampering with the search results to push down Satanism and the Joy of Satan, and assuming that they're providing accurate data on those pages.

Remember this is the same Google who owns YouTube and has shut down countless Satanist channels, fudged the like/dislike counts, and banned people for questioning the holohoax...

If google is intentionally censoring the Joy of Satan and/or preventing people's likelihood of finding it online, it wouldn't mean the data here is inaccurate. They might be lying, sure. Apparently well over 80-95% of people use google, so unless they're lying outright about the amount of people who use their search engine or the results they collect, it should be accurate.

They did the same with Alex Jones and others. Even Gab and other things they don't like. I am fully reluctant to accept anything Google has to say. For many months also, they entirely censored the JoS from Google results and other things like this, on specific Nations.

We have tried repeatedly on this time through many networks from other members in other countries too, and they reported all but the same.

What Google claims here doesn't even amount to the mere measure of the views on the actual sites here and the numbers here. Therefore, it's very easy for me to consider this a lie or a repressed view.

We also have some internal statistics, and also some more external ones, which say entirely other things. This is about however for all of our sites, not sure about generalized terms. Google is a low accuracy pointer and has went into "Always do evil" mode a long time ago.

Ya, if you're collecting your own data then it would be obviously more accurate than using google trends. While google's data isn't likely lying directly, it's by far less comprehensive than internalized statistics. If it's possible to see specific trending values instead of comparative values, we could then see what value google trends places the internalized values compared to search terms like "Satanism" and "Satan". By doing that, you'd be able to compare how beneficial it would be to control those narratives. I haven't checked if this is possible yet.

It seems it would be beneficial to take over the wiki page for Joy of Satan, but again I haven't yet looked into how their editing community works. I saw some people were trying to change things but their edits were removed. It seemed that the wiki page is revised pretty frequently.

What also needs to be done is edit wikipedia in other languagues and add infos on the JoS, I myself did this with serbian and croatian wikipedia.
For example, editing the meditation wiki to add SS point of view, editing articles on Satan and Satanism too
