God rituals / rtr

Is it at all effective to do Gods' rituals and RTRs without saying the runes (or letters) out loud, using my internal voice instead?
it seems counter intuitive but i dont always have any empty rooms in my house and don't have my choice.
i thought about an astral temple, but truthfully, i cannot maintain full concentration there yet, especially for purposes and rituals i dont have fully memorized
