I just got back from watching this movie. Overall it was
entertaining. The effects were great. But, the story (based on the
Marvel Comics Serial) is another blasphemy towards Father Satan.
Satan's character (Mephistopheles, played by Peter Fonda) is shown
as an old man, portrayed to be so desperate, almost forcing the
hero, Johnny Blaze (played by Nicholas Cage) to give his soul to the
devil, by "accidentally" causing Johnny's finger to bleed because of
a sharp pen, and then as the blood drops on the "contract paper" ,
his soul is owned by Mephistopheles.
Then, Johnny Blaze becomes the Ghost Rider who must fight the
Nephilims (demons), which represent the four elements (water, air,
fire & earth). Their names are Gressil, Wallow & Abigor.The
Nephilims are rebelling against Satan and attempting to build a new
hell on earth and govern there. I love to watch how the Nephilims
transform into the elements. Cool effects!
Plus, in the end, the Nephilims lost the battle against Ghost Rider,
and the xian god steps in. The Ghost Rider decided to part ways with
Mephistopheles, in order to get a "second chance" from the xian god,
because he realized that he has sinned a lot (yeah right).
Apart from the blasphemy and xian bullshit, the movie is quite
entertaining IMO.
But, on the overall, it's disappointment. Again, profit is being
made by blaspheming our Beloved Father!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
One day, these people will regret the bullshit they made up. The
time will come when they see the truth and it's too late for them.
