Generational curses? Are they real?

In this part of Africa where I come from and in most part, there is often a a topic preached about in churches know as a "generational curse" it's so common here you cant help but wonder.
So recently my parents spoke to me on this issue of how there is a curse and bad foundation in our family and how I needed to go to church to be prayed for so It can be broken of my life(xo annoying),

I don't buy their xtian ideology as they are very religious people but that doesn't affect me as I'm an Adult so they can't force there beliefs on me anymore as they know im a satanist .
But still I think about the issue, because I have heard stories about people and also seen people who the first male child in the family dies and some other family the girls can't give birth and can't get married no matter how beautiful they are etc. They often seek help from churches and the so called pastors and prophet say it's a curse, so, I'm just wondering truly if generational curses are real, is there a way to protect my self from it and/or break free from it?

There are such things as curses but I am not sure about generational curses. 
The biggest curse on humanity is the foul and disgusting thing called the jew and it's horrid program of Xianity....  Just so you know, Xianity is Christianity and Islam.
These curses are in the bible..and damns the gentiles. The bible is full of many horrible curses for humanity. Curses on our wealth, family structure, health, etc. This is manifesting as all the problems humanity currently faces.
Humanity is cursed, so to speak. We break the curse and come into our own power by transforming our souls through power meditation and under Satan's guidance and by fighting the enemy.

Whether someone is Xian or not, magick and spells can still be performed. You never know the situation but one thing is for sure, using the mind and powers of the soul can work to influence, attract, protect and destroy.

I can only speak for your situation but if you are truly dedicated, Satan protects you. He protects his people and he is very powerful. There is no need to worry about silly so called curses. We work to become our own gods and shape our fates. When we are here with Satan we have power and protection like never before. 
Of course we must work to develop these powers but the access and protection we get from the beginning is concrete. It is substantial.
One thing is for sure, you do not need to be prayed over by some air-headed pastor...
In the past, some satanists were forced to go to church by their parents and it never ended up well.... The enemy's energy can affect you.... if you ever had to go, clean your aura before and after.
Do what you have to do. Just  be smart about it and be safe. I know in some countries, following Satan or opposing Xianity in anyway can cause serious consequences....
