Elder Futhark consists of 24 letters which are cosmograms that activates certain concepts in human mind as other gentile alphabets.If we focus on the meaning of first 6 letters we will find an interesting allegory:
Futh or Fuþ means basically vulva or the woman genitalia which is associated with the feminine and subconscious as this is a strong symbolism of magic.
Ark means chest or box that is used to contain certain things.
