I've read that you need to forget about the spell and not think about it after doing it, however wouldn't It work properly anyways because our minds will work out the best solution anyways?

Thinking directly about the spell when you are not perform it does interfere. This is as if you were filling a flask with a dropper with a precise solution of liquid (correct energy corresponding to the correct spell, specifically raised for that reason) to arrive at a precise, measured amount. Dropping bottles of water or juice into the flask might actually increase the amount of liquid in the flask, but the solution you are trying to create would be compromised.

But there are other ways you can take care of a spell while you are not casting it, which is to work on the material plane to manage your life as best as possible so that your spell finds the best way to manifest and has an easier path.
