Failed dedication ritual?

A while ago I performed a dedication ritual to Satan, but was unable to actually make myself bleed, so I ended up simply using ink to sign my name. My question is: is this a viable dedication ritual? Or is it useless because I didn't use blood? I haven't really felt any different since the ritual, is that a sign?

There's a high chance that it didn't work. People have their own special life-force and DNA in their blood, just like fingerprints, that no one else matches completely. 
We use blood (as what's been told, not my words) so the Gods can identify us physically and spiritually (mark us).

I would do the dedication ritual again, if I were you.

And you might not necessarily feel anything immediately after being done with the ritual. I for once, didn't feel anything until few days later, that was after I meditated on Satan's Sigil.
Everyone experience something different in the path of Spiritual Satanism, don't expect to experience the same as what the others do.

I had the same problem I couldnt draw any blood I tried 20 minutes with different knives tried everything and it didnt work.... in the end I just took a scissor and that worked. Its about 2 weeks ago now since I did the dedication ritual but I can still see the place where I cut myself.... At least there is a good memory behind that scar

It worked! I had the same experience. I barely bled, I actually am
unsure that it bled at all. I thought I had, but I honestly don't
know, i'm totally blind, so I could not even see my paper. But Father
satan accepted me! He has made ample proof of this. Do not wory! Your
dedication rite was very valid! I, as well, did not really feel
anything erth-shattering when I performed the ritual; I did feel a
sense of calm and peace, as though I had found my correct path, but
that was it. No voices, no visions, no nothing...

If you read the information below the ritual, it obviously mention that the pact must be sign with your blood and nothing else. Even if you couldn't draw any blood after pricking finger, just proceed.

I suggest using safety lancet if possible because it can draw blood much easier and quicker than regular needle.

DON'T USE SCISSORS OR KNIVES! You could chop part of your finger off, or cause nerve damage.
All it takes is a small prick with a tiny needle. If you're "unable to bleed" with this, you're doing something wrong. Humans have a psychological defense mechanism to prevent us from harming ourselves. Even the smallest of such actions can be impossible to do, for most people. If someone resorts to drastic measures like scissors or knives for this, it will be even harder, and possibly very dangerous, as people will feverishly will try to overcome this self-sustaining mechanism. That's like busting your head through a window in order to get through to the other side, instead of just unlocking the door.
It's not supposed to be hard at all, nor is it supposed to be a matter of overcoming any fears of hurting yourself. Members in the past have suggested using "finger prickers" that diabetics and others use for blood testing. Supposedly, this is completely painless and easy. For Americans, you can get these anywhere, like CVS.
When the finesse and planning goes out the window, bad things happen.

Use a razor blade clean it if not new and barely apply pressure on a fingertip or wherever comfortable and judge the depth of the cut and go from there it's pretty easy that way.

I used a knife to get the blood out since the needle was too dull. I really couldn't pierce my skin. I think as long as you disinfect the tool you're going to use. It should be fine unless you don't cut your finger like a madman.

I want to add something. It might be a good idea to drink a glass of water before doing this. If you are dehydrated it's harder to draw blood. Doctors in hospitals know this is the case when drawing blood from patients. They can actually have veins that collapse from dehydration as they try to draw blood.

If you drank little or nothing, or only had coffee then you might have a hard time. Your blood is largely water. So make sure you are hydrated so you don't have to mutilate yourself to get a drop of blood.
