Hello all, as the title suggests, I am having trouble with a particularly depressing episode right now, and I have no idea how to deal with it on the spot. This is not a thing that happens every day, but every week or two, I will be perfectly happy during a day, and suddenly a shitstorm will hit me like a train. I am not suffering from depression, or any similar condition, what happens is that latent insecurities resurface just to annoy me and leave me feeling like shit for a short while. This question is not so much about fixing my insecurities (although any info related to that will be great, I'm trying to fix them), as much as it is about facing the negative feelings when they happen, so that I can come out of moments like this one unscathed.
