I've noticed there is a few posts about spiritual symbolism in dragon ball. I'm a really big fan of it and i noticed one nice bit that i really like. The intro to dragonball has some fun symbolism in it i only noticed after listening to it a few times, its a pretty great sounding song so it took me a bit to realize.. the lyrics:
"Through the fires of time, they’ve waited patiently.
When all seven balls you find, the Dragon is set free.
Rising, rising, mesmerizing, unbridled ecstasy.
Radiant and shining, hidden somewhere in the field,
Luminous and blinding, with your desire revealed.
Ageless, timeless, what you’ll find is beyond belief!"
In this part of the song, what it's referencing is awakening the 7 chakras and freeing the kundilini serpent-"finding the 7 magic balls and setting the dragon free", how its describing the glory and ecstacy of freeing your kundilini and ascending into godhood as the next part, and "ageless, timeless, what you'll find is beyond belief" is about achieving immortality from all of it.
