Doing night meditation before sunset?

In summer, sunset can come quite late, is it fine to do the night meditation before the sun has set?

Astrologically, the night hours begin when the Sun sets.

Now, if by "night meditations" you refer to the 40-day meditation program, you can do those meditations any time you please. Spacing them out evenly during the whole day is a good option considering that constant training stimulus is optimal, but otherwise it does not really matter. Much of what that program provides is a simple progressive guide for beginners, no more, no less.

If there are certain meditations that need actual nighttime, then that would be another case and then one has to adjust, doing such things after the sunset.
