Clarification on Heredity and Genetics

I am currently learning about the basic principles of genetics in University.

I am having trouble understanding where our ancestry comes from based on the distance away from said ancestor.

For example, when we say that were are related to the Gods, I get that. However, with such a distance our genetic relatability gets smaller and smaller, so where can we see that % of connection? How, genetically, are we reawakening our blood memory? Based on what I am learning, our parents each make up 50%, and then grandparents, 25%, etc. Tracing that back thousands of year how are we related at all to our Great Ascended Ancestors, the Daemons, the Gods?

If the % is so small, how can we be called a race? Why do races share characteristics even though some of us are 100s of generations separated?

I would bet I am overthinking.

Also, I don't want anyone to misinterpret, I understand this concept by instinct and feeling; I am seeking a logical explanation for my intellect.

I think the answer lies in the fact that some aspects of race are less changeable than others. It is not like our children go through a random feature generator, so to speak. Without interbreeding, we would look very similar, even other thousands of years.

If you look at the Odhal rune, you can see it is the last rune in the set. It is like a "final manifestation" of sorts. It is earthly and very stable. This is how a race is retained within a common bound. Being derived from the same source, all members of a race carry around these basic instructions/pattern on which the rest of our being is expressed.

As for the Gods, our connections can get weakened through atrophy, but also they remain in the soul and can be reawakened. This reflects both in astral connections, and in the reactivation of certain genes. You will see how HPHC had chosen runes like Mannaz, Odhal , and Eihwaz for the Gods' rituals, as each of these have an ancestral component of sorts.

Thanks Blitz. While waiting for a reply, I thought to myself, that race is a natural blueprint, and family, is another unit within race. So, there must be a base genetic inheritance from the race itself that the family holds. Also, that even though we are many generations away from the ascended ones, we still hold that potential recessively, awaiting a key for its lock.

I am enjoying school, but as you can tell, it can cause questions and confusions, especially the narrative that "Scientists" have "proven" that humans are 99.9% related, and that race is a social construct. I know it is BS. However, the JOS is my cross reference point for the truth. Along with common sense lol.

I am going to read on some of HPs writings to refresh my mind.
