chakra meditation help

hello, i have opened/empowered my 3rd eye chakra for 4 consecutive days as is directed in the information. at this time when i concentrate on my 3rd eye i can feel it (a dull ache in my forehead), and i am starting to see 3rd eye manifestations again (nothing too intense, so far just swirling light, kaleidoscope-ish colours, etc). i had experienced these visions as a child, but they have gotten much weaker as i aged.
i attempted the crown chakra meditations afew times, but each time i have never felt the extreme pleasure the information speaks of (one time i had a dull headache the next day, but no extreme pleasure).
do i need to further open my 3rd eye (if so any advice on how to go about doing this)? please instruct me on how to advance with opening my crown chakra.
