i cant believe this but ive been to 3 translators
and they all put this as a result

In Nomine Dei Nostri Satanas, Luciferi Excelsi

translates to

Upon By name Dei Our To pay a creditor Luciferi Elevations

BUT if you take the orginal invation and translate it into latin then

back to english you get this

Upon Nominally Dei Nostril Devil Luciferi To precede

so i think this needs to be revised by a expert on latin
i wuold hope the res of you agree with me

hail father satan forever!

I believe it refers as the name of our god is satan, lucifer of heaven or it can mean the name of our god satan is the holy lucifer Nomine name dei is a most likely a medieval root of the word deos and dea, god and goddess nostri, our satan luciferi represents the one of light excelsi can represent something holy or it can be a general term for heaven the context of the sentence it seems like it comes from a larger passage or prayer

I belive it's "The name of our Satan Lucifer shall be exalted!" The "In the name on" I don't think it's correct if translated mot-a-mot, after all, in latin, the verb is at the end, and there is only one ver=only one sentence.

Translating from Latin into English or vise versa can be very difficult. It gets tricky and sometimes the context we want in English, does not get translated into the Latin. I recently got a tattoo that has Latin in it, one of the words being Reus, which many translators say literally means "bound". Other translators say it means "accused, or answerable" which IS a way of MEANING bound, but not in the exact context. You have to take any "pieced together" translation with a grain of salt.

This phrase is originally from the Invocation to Satan in The Satanic Bible by Anton LaVey, page 144.

Whatever the internet translators may say the MEANING behind this saying is thus:

In Nomine dei - In the Name of

Nostri - Our

Satanas Luciferi - Satan Lucifer

Excelsi - Exalted or Elevated(Showing Great Honor)

In the Name of Our Satan Lucifer, Exalted!

Ut Servo Diabolus

<td val[/IMG]I am Italian and I studied latin at school (many years ago...)

I think there is a missing at the beginning....it should be "In nomine", not only "nomine"
So "in nomine" could be an ablative case, and the rest is all genitive case.
If I am right the translation is

"In the name of our father Satanas and Lucifer the most high"

Awesome! Thank you all so much for the translation! Now I can move forward!
Hail Enki!
David

If I recall 4 yrs. of Latin correctly it should read something like: " In the most exalted name of our god Satan/Lucifer"

Ave Satanas !
