Like playing a race game and use it to get good at driving and have a nice car?

If you can use the video game as a prop to get you in the feeling that you're driving a real car, it will help it in the part of a working where you do the visualizing of your goal.

not quite. games can be inspiration, but the point of magic and meditation is to focus on YOURSELF getting better, not on what you do in the game. you'd just get better at driving in the game..

If I shout "Fus Ro Dah" enough times, will my voice project enough outward force to flip cars over? No?

Then no.

This is what I was wondering. If I can use focus and visualization in a game and use such as a gate to modify reality. Especially considering how some games can make you feel part of a different world.

Sad how the lesser minds have such a stupid reaction to my question. If I'm not mistaken someone on the forums stated that what he played as a child on the Sims manifested in his real life when he was older.

Ahh, I only really understood what you meant later.

Well, props are props. If you want to go that route you won't lose trying. Many persons, many methods.

Like the guy that built Auschwitz in Minecraft?

Like your example with cars and racing games, I would not call it magick, because if you have played shooter games all your life, when you pick up a weapon in real life you sure will know what to do with it better than people that haven't played shooter games.

As in manifesting things in real life by doing them first in a video game, perhaps for helping with visualization, it might be useful but only doing it there won't be enough for it to manifest in real life. It sure will give you a better understanding of what you want to happen and how, but I personally don't think it alone would direct enough energy for it to manifest in your life.

Yeah, with that logic, I'm better than Keiichi Tsuchiya and Ken Block at drifting.

I found one time that playing a video game actually increased the energy of the rtr cause i was more focused.

What does a videogame controller have to do with the controls of a car? You aren't going to learn how to drive by playing with a xbox.

But that 7 year old kid that stole his grandmother's suv and drove to walmart a few years ago. He said "It's fun to do bad things. I wanted to do hoodrat stuff with my friend." I think he learned how to drive by playing that arcade game that has controls set up like a real car.

The cartoon The Boondocks had a whole episode about this kid. The episode is called "smoking with ciggawets"

And then a year later assaulted his grandma because she wouldn't give him any chicken

And then 9 years after that, robbed then carjacked a Lyft driver.

Some things never change. A competent justice system would've put the evil boy down by now.

lol maybe he's using a racing wheel and pedals. only if its super hyper realistic and puts your mind in the right zone would it even work, But its all about using this as a prop right? Lets be honest, You would be a hundred times way better off just visualizing and feeling yourself driving IN your mind.

Your brain does not understand the difference between doing/accomplishing something in a video game and doing so in real life.

It's why your brain rewards you for accomplishing something in a game when in reality it was just a few pixels on a screen and you accomplished nothing at all. But you get the same feeling unlocking some rare item or achievement in a game as you would winning a bunch of cash in real life.

This is why it's not a good idea to dedicate too much time to games because focusing your mind into success in a virtual world will bring you success in that virtual world, and nothing of value in real life.

As for actually doing magic you need to be focused on your goal as you program energy. Replacing that focus with playing a video game is programming energy to bring you success in the context of the video game, not real life.

When visualizing your goal would should totally separate yourself from a video game's simulated reality, or you risk wasting all this energy on bringing you success in a game rather than in real life. Your subconscious brain does not understand the difference.

Can you get fit by playing Wii Sports?!

nope and I will tell you why

when racing cars, specially open wheelers you don’t “drive” based on what you see or where you’re going

you need to have full body sensibility, to feel and sense what IS the vehicle actually doing and of course to gauge how close or far one is from the physical performance limit

aside from all that, you need a methodical approach and some patience, but this is the easier bit

the best racing drivers in the world win cause they have trained themselves to have very high sensibility when driving and this allows them to be consistent and fast at the same time (it also allows them to know exactly what the car setup needs to be for each track)

Such things can be achieved by practicing over and over again if you have the money, but you can do a working on this if you truly know the areas in which you need to improve and of course if you simply don’t have the budget that they do

This is exactly what I did with a working years ago. And this will sound like a joke to some, but I have full confidence in myself to beat these rich ass daddy kids in F1 - difference being im nowhere as rich as they are. But with relatively few practice days I’ll definitely destroy them given the chance

Video games will only make you work on the “focus” aspect, the same way void meditation will do. You can’t get the full body sensibility you need playing a video game, only visual cues will get printed in your brain

And you still need physical endurance and a sharp mind even when fatigue starts to come up when racing, even if most of the top classes are pussified versions of what motorsport should actually be, it’s necessary

I grew on video games pretty much and when I got older and came here, I progressively cut them out totally. For me it was escapism and a dampener on what I could do and I learnt I had a loyalty towards the truth of this whole thing. The "video game" equivalent of someone with spiritual power like the Gods (Pineal gland experiences) would be far better and also enriching. Growing older into this world without dharmic and spiritual advancement, playing games is not as rewarding as when I was younger and way more mentally focused about the meaning of what I was doing. Children should play games centered around their own nature but an adult and someone who wants to advance should focus on their duties and advancement of the soul.

To call people who respond to what you were saying with anger that you said in THIS place with older adult people, is an inversion of the true situation on your part Brother. This idea in an adult-sense is similar to relying on porn for sexual idea stimulation, or people who read philosophy and get the dopamine without get-ing anywhere. They are contained in their own box of illusion. It's a silly thing, when you get older you have to meet Saturn and reality, not the illusions and intriguing whims a child is allowed to preoccupy themselves with. When you get older you have to act towards your inner dreams and goals to make manifest into reality.

This is my personal view aside of the point of what you were asking. To your question I would say you have to be very specialised and capable of articulating such a thing with your mind. Early on in advancement and for people with worries and duties, it's better to have no distractions and the single point focus with no enriching visual qualities to it which distract from the point of a working. I think for the driving development it's better to drive for real. I had a friend who had one of those game wheels as a teen and I observed that it helped him and also made him more passionate about cars in general and grew his knowledge there. When you are required, or require yourself to have duties you have to manage your time with the more whimsy pursuits like that. When you hit 18/20 the time is up, if you are a young adult and doing this you are wasting potential value and what is important for yourself and the world you could influence for the better. That is even for the Piscean and emotional types who preoccupy themselves with this stuff. The true occupation of those people is literally spirituality in full, and a greatly dutiful role in society especially now.

So yeah, it is good in its limits if you are inclined. A child doing it though, has endless passion and will be way beyond in driving ability just like a child like Mozart who composed music that early on. They will be utterly beyond the adults who try to "lose" themselves in it and fail. You're making me wish I got one of those games as a kid now, lol

Been playing a lot of Gran Turismo since they added Hachiroku >;-D

Wouldn't you be able to raise energy though. Like by vibrating mantras while waiting in que times. DPS que times are long on overwatch. So like i play the game for 30 minuetes while vibrating a mantra. Suu-RR-YAH i think was the one i did today.

After you take a 10 minute break you could probably put that energy to work. At least thats what instict is telling me. Side note while trying to visualize my eyes are shut. But somehow i can see through them. Its pretty unclear at first but then it comes into focus the more you will it. Are these my astral eyes.

Is this normal.
