Hi, so I'm currently busy with my life (studies, school, exams, competitions). But I'm doing a lot of self reflections. I am currently under 20 (male). I believe after a month or so (if I achieve my goals) I'll be fully able to spend time here and focus on advancement. And I will definitely be helping other members if I'm knowledgeable to help. So I was wondering if I work really hard, help others genuinely and participate in projects regularly and make knowledgeable posts etc will I be able to be Guardian then High Priest (when time comes) ? Can a person of color from Indian subcontinent reach this status in this forum? Will I be accepted and tolerated and loved by all if I help others (Like white JGs or HPs)? Thank you.
P.S. I really want to reach those status like JG Blitzkrieg or Hp Hoodedcobra, they are really cool (and I find them really awesome too - if you see this message, know that I really love and appreciate both of you because you have always been kind, compassionate, considerate with me) Also I love your posts Hps Shannon.

It is exactly as Henu said. The Guardians come from all backgrounds and walks of life, there have been clergy members of color as well. Don't ever think that has ever had any weight when someone is considered for the position.

There have been clergy members from almost every race. Some relieved themselves of the title, for their own reasons. The title comes with alot of responsibility and is ordained, not to be given or accepted by just anybody, nor to be taken lightly.

My opinion is those that chase the "status" tend to deserve it the least.

What role do the Gods play in appointing clergy/ high priests? Surely for matters that important they must take the time to communicate.

Yes!

There is nothing wrong with ambition or striving for status. This can be a powerful force that propels one to develop themselves very seriously. But you don't need a title to do that. Everyone who wears the title served their community just as well without it.

Don't fall for the fallacy that you need a title first to be someone. There are many SS who have served the JoS for years behind the scenes, doing monumental work; they are all recognised publicly or in the eyes of the Gods.

The Gods decide this completely. Affairs are handed to those tested and appointed by them.

Yes, you can become one, but it all depends on your diligence, level of development, responsibility.

As well as other factors, which that require the decision of the Gods and High Priests (how I see it).
