As we advance and go through this path and through life there will be ups and downs. We are all looking to move foward and have a life where we grow in power, quality of life and close to the Gods. As all of our paths are different this will pan out different for each individual as well as sadly, simply not go as easily for each and everyone. This is a simle fact reguardless of anyones feelings about it, and can have to do with karma, the natal chart, ones home environment and how they are raised and thus affecting how they see others and the world. Childhood is thus crucial here. Again sadly there are many of us here who have not had the greatest of it. Reguardless of what hangups and roadblocks one may encounter when trying to advance and better ones life, they need to be eliminated or at least alleviated all the same in order to have a happier life and to see things clearly when it comes to advancement, interacting with ones environment, and certainly when trying to interact with other people the Gods. When this does not always go the way one intends or hopes, they can often become angry or resentful and even be so arrogant as to direct their anger to, or blame the Gods for their misfortune.
First off this shows how immature the person is on an emotional level. but it also desplays a sense of entitlement and demanding that the Gods do not respond well to, and sure as hell do not deserve. This also goes to show how one does not know the Gods as well as one thinks. For one it implies that you think they mean to hurt you or bring you down for any reason. two, it shows how selfish you are for not understanding free will, and just expecting a situation or oppertunity to pan out just because it is presented to you. What many don't understand is that the Gods in no way are obligated to do FUCK ALL for you or any of us. They are helping us by choice because they saw parts of humanity they can put hope in. As HP has said, they also pick favorites and are not the hebrew god. They will not eternally and unconditionally love and forgive time and time again or turn the other cheek if someone yells at them or directs anger towards them and nor should anyone else who has someone treat them badly after only trying to help them copiously with their problems, only to hear them groan on.
The Gods will often try to help us by leading us to certain people, events or other things in our lives. Just because they do this doesn't mean it is guarenteed to work out the way you might hope. And this is because, wait for it, OF FREE WILL. The Gods are not hear to baby us and cater to our ever whim and also will not interfere with free will. If a situation or desired outcome is to take place when an oppertunity is presented to you it is up to YOU and you alone, along with the other affected parties if any, to make something happen, which means it very well may not end well. Maybe you or someone handled a situation subparly, or another person saw certain patterns of behaviors they did not want to have in someone in their life while getting to know someone or a situation. Is this truely a fault of the Gods or because one or more of you have not done something right? Now here is when the person with the ego as large as the sun will find it too painful to even think to look at themselves, as many a people as this, deep down feel smaller than a speck already because many have tried to tear them down throughout their lives. But does this excuse their own faults or how they may badly treat others? Does it excuse a defeatist attitude? No it does not.
Oftentimes when something the Gods bring to us or send us does not workout and they know it won't it can also be for a reason. Maybe they want to teach you something about yourself or about life or are trying to point things to you that you must fix. If a friend or lover walks away from you are you going to blame the Gods? Or is it more logical to look at yourself and the other and wonder what you or both of you did wrong to not let it work? If a friend sees that you are on friendly terms with others at the surface yet comes and confides in you behind their backs about all the things you resent them for how does this friend know you will not do the same to them? if a friend makes a mistake, or sets boundries poorly or otherwise is not fair to you somehow, and hurts you and you resent them for it, if during fights you don't fight fair and resort to insults and name calling and that friend walks away is all of that the Gods fault just because they presented you with meeting that person? Or is it free will taking place?
The Gods are here to help us advance and be there for us. It is not their responsibility if a situation does not go over well for us, allthough their protection is there if things get serious. You can be presented with the same situation over and over again but if certain behavior patterns and hangups remain in place it will always end the same. Look at yourself as a person. If there are mutiple people you have had run ins with who have given the same types of critizisms to you over and over perhaps there is truth to it. Instead of feeling attacked like an immature child or accusing of someone seeing things that arent there, actually ask why and try to understand why they are pointing this out. Anyone who expects to maintain genuine relationships and does not do this is selfish. This is also not telling one to accept outright abuse, but to at least try to make an attempt and understanding critizism. It can go a long way. Doing this just might help you improve yourself especially in your relations with others and the Gods. The last thing they deserve is to be approached with resentment just because your expectations are not met. They will not sit idly by and take abuse from anyone much less watch them groan on endlessly about life with little to no advancement. Once you realize this is not anyones problem but yours you are already one step further.
