ok so im a satanist, and ive always wondered why black, death metal music has always been thought of "Devil-Music". surely they could of picked a better genre like speedcore.(a sub-genre of techno).


does anyone know why its called Devil-Music?

Ah, good ol' devil music. Many Xian conservatives are under the impression that since these genres make frequent cites of death & violence & gore, etc. they are of devilish form, since their interpretation of Satan is the epitomy of such things. Ironically the bible cites many occasions of deeds more heinous than your average death metal
band in it's scriptures. & since they're going to heaven, why should they fear death? I think it's presented in a way that they're uncomfortable with, which therefore makes it evil. That's how they're taught, right? That the strange & different is evil & therefore Satanic. I hope that helped.

i suppose there are a number of reasons
there are some metal bands that are satanists or preach satanic wrods such as cradle of filth or dimmu borgir for example, and because xians a retards they assume all metal is the same. for example they belive that bring me the horizion or i killed the prom queen are satanists...xians are just idiots, they follow the stereotype.
what they dont realise is that there are also some christian metal bands such as underoath, norma jean and as i lay dying, so it stikes me as wierd why they think metal is devil music.
i guess another reason is because of the scary lyrics and covers, even if there not satanic they all asume that talking about death means your a satanist. fools.
personally i like metal, but i LOOOOVE mozart, beethoven, beegees, abba, queen, bach ect aswell (my music taste is enourmous).
but yea, they basically call it devil music because they think that its all satanic.

But I can still appreciate them causec they are not singing about
`I love you` or `Iwant to screw you` as in any popularv genres.
