Today I started practicing Kundalini Yoga for the first time. I felt like my spine was burning! There was no pain, just a burning sensation. I was barely able to complete 30% of each Kundalini Yoga exercise because of this sensation. I do chakra spinning, chakra breathing, aura cleaning/protection, and power meditations daily for a 1 month, but I don’t think my chakras and energy level are enough for Kundalini ascension. Does this mean Kundalini Yoga gave me a huge amount of energy? What was that burning sensation in my spine—high energy? I felt extremely relaxed afterward too
Thanks for your help!

I think you just overloaded yourself with energy. If it's your first time ever doing KY, you should begin with much fewer reps and build up over time.

I guess you did the basic spinal energy series with too much repetition. Start with something between 9 to 36, depending on how flexible you are by default. It can be a strong sensation for the first time, as it cleans you, and stretches tissues that haven't been stretched. But you'll adjust and get more clean, and you'll be able to do more reps.

If after finishing as you mentioned you felt relaxed and the sensation was pleasant there is no problem with that, if on the contrary when finishing you feel overloaded then you should reduce the repetitions.
