Aura of the Moon?

So last night I was meditating on the roof in the light of the full moon doing a couple of spiritual workings and trying to work with the lunar energy since it was so strong last night and when I looked up at the moon it looked like I saw something of an aura around it. 

I can see aura's, but not really colours yet, and I know all things have an aura, so I assume planets and celestial bodies have aura's too, and presumably pretty big ones because of their massive size. 

As I looked at the moon, it looked like the moon itself was pulsating, with a bright white golden light and around that light there was a sky blue aura, a small but bright sky blue circle. Then around that there was green and yellow... It looked like an aurora was comming of the moon, pulsating and very vibrant. 

Then around that there seemed to be a very vague outline, a bigger circle about 2 times wider in radius than the moon itself, which was very faint, but visable behind the moon light radiating from the moon itself. It had a sort of disk comming out, creating a shape like this:

But much less bright obviously. 

My question is, could this have been the actual aura of the moon that I managed to pick up, or was it simply an illusion created by the refracting light entering out earts atmosphere and getting distorted a bit, like what you get when the sun light is being obstructed by things like humidity in the sky, creating "halos" around it. 

The moon light was really beautiful last night though and the sky was completely clear, I hope many of you had an oppertunity to sit and take it all in and meditate during this magnificent Full moon.

Honestly, it could be either. You could be seeing the moon's aura. Or, it could just be
the lighting effects. Maybe both.


Anyway, I missed it.

The full moon was on a Friday, at least here in the USA. Was a full moon in Pisces. The Moon becomes officially full in the day time so pretty much impossible to get its full effects during the day. The night before, when the moon was 95% full, I meditated on it and absorbed it into my body and through my third eye into my 6th chakra. It felt great. One can really work with the energies if they wanted to.
In the past, I used it to balance my hormones and moon cycle.
Tip: For maximum effects, it is best to cast spells, start workings and work with full moon energies before it officially becomes full and as close to it as possible. Once the moon becomes Full (one can look up the exact times online or in an almanac), It starts to wane soon after. 
The same applies to the New moon. But either way, the Moon's energies can be worked with at any stage according to its correspondences.

I can see the aura of the moon too. It has a strong blue, almost electric but more smooth. To me it looks like blue flames. I thought it was just something I saw because of the light the moon gives. But apparently not many can see it. So I learned it is the Arcane energy that we see. On Friday the energy from the moon was very strong, I felt it so good.

I noticed it this time for the first time, earlier when looking at the moon even when it was full I just saw the normal illumination, but it does seem I saw the moons aura this time. Little signs of progress like that are reassuring haha. 

I think I missed the full moon when it was at it's peak and it was already waning when I meditated, but the lunar energies were still very strong.
