As title says.. what does this aspect in Natal and Synastry charts ? I think hard aspects add hardship.

As title says.. what does this aspect in Natal and Synastry charts ? I think hard aspects add hardship.

The ascendant is similar to the chart ruler but with a smaller orb of influence as it is a point and not a planet. The ascendant is the cusp of the 1st house and the chart ruler is the ruler of this house so they carry similar energies. I'd say all aspects between one's Saturn and another's ascendant can be problematic, but in particular the hard ones. Also, look at where the Saturn person's Saturn in the ascendant person's chart is making the aspect from.

Say if you have your Saturn in my 2nd house while also making a sextile to my ascendant, I will be wary with my finances and material possessions when it comes to you.

As with everything, the whole synastry chart should always be taken into consideration.
