Any dark truths regarding MLK?

I've been having doubts about MLK. For someone considered a magnificent speaker, I felt he hid a dark secret behind his supposedly "powerful" voice and activist image. Even before coming here, I vaguely remember reading a website that revealed that MLK, or rather, Michael King, was a Communist who abused women, and I remember better that the Black Panther Party was more of a threat than King was

If any of this is true, I'm more than willing to knock King off his pedestal.

I suspected as such. A lot of black people are under his spell. How did he undermine the black community, or more precisely, how did he deceive so many black with his non-violent movement? I know of the answer is ignorance, but what else allowed King to deceive people into believing he was a saint? Lastly, I mis-phrased the question a bit. I should said secrets instead of truths. Are there any other sinister secrets about MLK?

Was Gandhi also controlled opposition for that matter?

Did MLK write his own speeches?​

King didn’t write the speech entirely by himself. The first draft was written by his advisers Stanley Levison and Clarence Jones, and the final speech included input from many others.

In the early 1950s, the FBI considered Levison to be a major financial coordinator for the Communist Party USA (CPUSA)

Read the documents that were recently declassified a couple years ago, from the FBI's investigation on him. It said things like there was at least one time when he helped his friend rape a woman in a hotel room. He held her down so she couldn't get away.

I wouldn't call Gandhi controlled opposition simply because his teachings were degenerate, there was literally no real opposition from his side, just wishy washy pacifism.
He was also an extreme pervert, making his niece sleep with him naked.
