I read on the Temple of Zeus website that Kundalini Yoga exercises incorporating Breath of Fire also function effectively as a standalone breathing exercise. After practicing a Kundalini Yoga exercise that includes Breath of Fire, I lie on my back for 15 minutes, completely relaxing and entering a state of deep relaxation. Then, without changing my position, I transition into a trance and practice deep trance induction. This is because entering a deep trance becomes easier and more practical for me when I do trance work immediately after yoga.

Considering all this, when practicing a Kundalini Yoga exercise that includes Breath of Fire, would we be simultaneously engaging in yoga, breathing exercises, and trance induction practices?

Yoga helps the trance state, as explained here:

Breath of Fire, would we be simultaneously engaging in yoga, breathing exercises, and trance induction practices?

Basically, some spiritual practices interconnect several important steps of meditation. The more of the 8 steps you can come up with in a meditation program, the better. And if these steps are complementary to the same empowering purpose, even better and the empowerment will be more effective.
