A Working for Holiday Cheer: Ideas ?

Hello SS,

So, as the holidays approach, we are preparing for our family and friends to join us in celebration. We are excited, the kids are excited, and the spirit of Yule permeates the air—blessed by the Immortal Ones.

Although we wish we could have things go as we expect, we are aware of variables that cannot be controlled, like indifference between friends or family, for instance. However, the spirit of Yule is an opportunity to come together and truly enjoy the present moment, putting aside our troubles for a time and embracing what matters: living.

If you have a family like mine, you understand that certain individuals are lost within their limited perspective and perpetuate that perspective onto others, lowering holiday cheer. This is not done out of malice, but is natural for the individual who dwells in lower spheres. You love them either way.

But, regardless, you want a great turnout (especially if you're hosting); so, I would like anyone who has an idea for a short 1-3 day working that will improve this great time of year for yourself and everyone else, too.

I will start:

I was thinking of using runes like REDA, GEBO, WAUNJO, or SAULO. (Not all of them, but these stood out to me to choose from). And an affirmation like,

"During this holiday season, my family and my guests fully embrace joy, kindness, and gratitude, spreading warmth and cheer all around eachother, NOW."

How about simply Wunjo + Berkano? That should facilitate harmonious energies in the household for the duration.

Not a bad combo at all! I'll keep that in mind.

I did not want to not include Gebo, though, for its mutual, reciprocal, socializing energies. Berkano wouldn't be a bad substitute, however.

Since we are talking about household and harmony, Berkano relates closely (the Moon) and fits well in that regard. While Gebo (more like Venus, but perhaps not entirely) would also be suitable, I think the other way around could be a little bit better fit. In any case, I hope you succeed in this task.
