a poem i wrote for Bast

i decided to post the poem i wrote for Bast on the forums. forgive me
if it seems awkward at some points, i rarely write poetry and prefer
to save it for important situations.

This I write to honor you,
a Goddess strong and true,
eye of Re, avenger, you'll give them what is due.
Her roar makes faint, mohammed, false prophet of the east,
that enemy shall be ended, his minions know defeat.
She'll turn upon the nazarene, wasted, pale, and weak,
killing him continues, her vengeful winning streak.
Gleaming eyes, she lunges, destroys the jewish rat,
Her grace and poise perfected, a Lioness, a Cat.
Her enemies will crumble, their fate has long been cast,
and in her honor, revelries, when victory is past,
she'll lead us straight to victory, the mighty Goddess Bast.
