I wanted to share this beautiful piece I got yesterday for my birthday with you guys. I shared these pictures in the Ancient Greek group chat, so we could translate the text, but I wanted everyone to be able to enjoy it as well, so I figured I would post it in the A&M section. My partner got this from a second-hand seller, and I instantly fell in love with it upon opening it. The details of the scenery on the front, I couldn't stop staring at it. On the back, it says at the top around the emblem, "Delos Apollo" so I'm assuming it came from Delos island originally, but I'm not 100% certain. I'm still currently waiting on the text translation, so I will update with the translation of the text once I have that.
I personally love to collect cultural pieces like this. I have a few Chinese and Japanese pieces as well in my collection. I can post those as well if people want to see them, as they are incredibly beautiful.
I plan to hang this plate above my altar, once I buy a sturdy support for it so I'm not terrified of it falling off the wall, lmao.
Thanks for looking, hope you guys love it just as much as I do!

Went to look up the rest of the set, (which I will now be buying LMFAO), they have the Aphrodite and Adonis which is the one I got, then they have Daphne and Apollo, Eros and Psyche, Pygmalion and Galatea. I NEED THEM  The other three are just as gorgeous, holy hell!
