I believe that this is a concept (introduced rather late, after 6th or 7th century CE) that was not present in the original slavic theology. It has very few sources from that period and none from before, indicating a sublimation of several phenomena relating to fate, luck and similar things.

Probably not a deity per se, rather an amalgamation of negative forces explained in that manner.
