It is a high chance that He is your Guardian judging by what you say. But only you can know for sure, if you asked Him directly, because it is a personal thing and people on the forum can't tell you for sure.
Try using a pendulum and talking to Him - the key here is to do void meditation while getting answers so you know your mind isn't interfering.
When I was searching for my Guardian, I did this method of getting into a trance state, and asking this God I felt extremely close to if He is my Guardian. In trance I had seen a few golden shapes and I didn't know what they meant.
It turned out that this Demon I felt really close to, showed me shapes that were in the sigil of my actual Guardian Demon. So that can happen as well, we can feel close to Gods that aren't our Guardian.
You can try this method with the trance if you believe it will help you better, because during trance we are more receptive spiritually. You might even feel the answer as a yes or no or even hear it instead of seeing it.
There are a lot of methods of communication with Them, so try any, and you will know what is the right answer to your question at the right time.
