Workings #76952 Past/present tense with affirmations

It likely does make the affirmation less powerful from a mental perspective.

But I wouldn't worry too much, as squares are incredibly powerful regardless of the affirmation. Be more careful next time, and most likely don't change the affirmation mid square.

Do not overthink your affirmationβ€”it's fine.

I prefer to use has instead of is, anyway, because it implies it's already done instead having to be done, if that makes sense.

However, either work because its about the intent with direction.

In my Sun Square affirmation I wrote "This energy of the Sun HAS permanently improved" instead of IS continually improving

"Has improved" and "is improving" are both present tense and so they're both fine. The difference between present perfect (has improved) and present continuous (is improving) is the one is finished but the other keeps going. If you want to see new improvements and changes every day it's better to use present continuous otherwise present perfect is ok.

Past/future tense isn't suitable for affirmations because your subconscious that receives the affirmations only lives in the now and understands the now.

Both options are suitable.

You need to choose between these times depending on the purpose of the statement.
