Because you are watching those anime cartoons and now you want to be a Samurai.
Whatever moral messages or lessons you think those shows contain, which I heard people say that some of them have some good moral message. I assure you whatever moral or positive character trait you see in those shows, there are members of your own race who share the same message.
While this might sound off base to some here, especially younger members, this is quite true.
We are at a time in history where media is more available than ever, especially global media.
For most of our history, the fiction we were consuming has been oral stories, local books, and maybe within the past few centuries, some of the greats of literature.
It's actually a relatively new phenomenon that we get to consume media from all over the world, be exposed to all kinds of people, and this can lead to mental imbalances for many reasons. One example can be this, it could also be having a bad impression about women, men, or just people in general because of what a limited subset of media has shown you.
Is this the end of the world? Nope. Should people stop watching anime or whatever? Nope, I personally enjoy quite a few series from Japan due to their culture being a lot less plagued by christian and quasi-christian bullshit.
It would be sensible, however, to try to balance your consumption. First of all, do study things from a diverse amount of cultures, but especially your own.
Second of all, go outside. For most people, you will have a bunch of same-race individuals around you, and be exposed to all kinds of character traits, many of which you will respect, all of which will influence your being.
Most importantly, however, be
aware of these things.
The wide majority of personality problems, mental problems, identity problems, and sometimes physical or financial problems, come from the fact that people are living life in a constant state of sedation, with zero introspection.
People should sit down and practice mindfulness, practice awareness of things going on in your life and influences in your life, and just being a person who lives in the moment and understands what influences are affecting them will protect you from entering stupid ways of thinking.
Nobody is really immune from their own experiences shaping their being, but we can (for the most part) control our experiences and be aware of this fact.
