Since my childhood, I have possessed many psychic abilities, most of which I accidentally awakened. They usually emerged suddenly when I was in trouble. I used to think that everyone could do these things because my family also had such abilities. While my father and his family did not have these kinds of abilities, my mother and her family were interested in dreams and various spiritual matters. My mother and her sisters can have prophetic dreams. Additionally, my mother can read fortunes, but she stopped doing it because it was considered a "sin."

Even though I awakened my abilities by chance, the fact that my mother possesses such abilities, my birth chart indicates a tendency toward psychic skills, and I progress quickly in my meditation practices is remarkable. Could these abilities be related to family lineage? Or did I just happen to awaken multiple psychic abilities by chance?

Additionally, I can't seem to close off a particular ability, which causes me to constantly absorb the energies around me. This makes me feel extremely exhausted. What can I do about this? I have considered making a talisman and wearing it around my neck. Does this work? (Sorry, I didn't want to share this on my own account. It would get too much attention.)

yes it have something to do with family lineage.
talismans are merely a props! the problem needs more effective solution.

for a start the runes Algis & Pertra seems suitable,
also using the color "deep red" can be very useful to block psychic energies but since colors are kinda advanced and works differently for individual. take it easy and decide for your self

Train yourself to use these skills, using the skills themselves. Master them and they will no longer be a problem, only an asset.

And yes, you have inherited these abilities if not in full, then at least in part. Meaning, there is the possibility for personal latent abilities to be present.
