in short, my mom, sibling and i will inherit an apartment where my grand-grandparents currently live. they have been waiting to get into a retirement home for years now, they first signed up i think 8 years ago, but the waiting lists are absurd.
neither of them is able to walk easily, let alone do anything else. theres more complications, in short they need medical care. they will be on the "priority list" in april, but the "priority list" is also 3 full folders of names.
now as selfish as this will sound, i need that apartment because i am starting college this year and i KNOW i cannot study where i am now, i tried many different approaches all throughout high school and its impossible, and i really want to do well and get a high paying job to help out my mom.
so i would really like to speed up the process of them getting into a retirement home, but it is absolutely NECESSARY they both remain SAFE and i do not place anyone in an uncomfortable position. is it possible to do this

I have seen it working in a similar situation, I don't know your country rules but this can be a general advice as well.
If your grandparents have difficulties in walking and daily life, you should contact the social welfare office or social services office, to ask for a medical check and describe their precarious situation. If their are judged in need of urgent retirement, maybe they will climb the list up.
