Sorry for asking here, I don't have an account
I am very curious about this topic and would like your opinions on it
sometimes in life one can experience profound suffering, and people often react to it differently, I am referring to those who suffer passively, whose sadness turns into depression, and those who transform that suffering into anger, hatred, resentment, why does this happen? what can be the factors that determine whether the person who suffers will suffer that pain by closing himself off in illness, or will light the fire of hatred that will lead to burning him with it
I have often seen people who are very similar in character, but who have each taken one of the two paths, due to similar pain. If anger and hatred are coping mechanisms, why do some people instead let themselves be carried away by the pain? what determines this

Some people are more predisposed to internalize emotions (leading to sadness and depression), while others externalize (expressing emotions outwardly, as anger or resentment). These tendencies are often shaped from a dominant Yin or Yang personality trait, which strengthen how you react to things.

People who have Yin dominance often correlates with internalized responses to suffering, like sadness, depression, or withdrawal.

People who have Yang dominance often correlates with externalized responses to suffering, like anger, resentment, or rebellion.

Then you have someone's perception; How someone interprets their suffering in the first place can also shape their response. Again, this is usually based upon the individuals personality traits. If pain is seen as unfair or the result of external forces, it might result in anger. If it's internalized as personal failure or inadequacy, it may lead to depression.

For example, if someone grew up in an environment where anger was modeled as a way to deal with frustration, they might resort to anger as a coping mechanism. Conversely, those taught to suppress emotions might be more prone to depression.

People who have experienced trauma, for example, may develop coping mechanisms based on how they processed that trauma. Some may feel powerless (leading to depression), while others may feel they need to "fight back" against perceived injustices (anger/resentment).

Of course, some individuals exhibit a blend of these types of reactions as well, with their responses varying depending on the situation or circumstances they encounter. It ultimately comes down to your character as a person, which cannot be defined in that black-and-white terms.

People are different, they have different natal charts, different elemental makeups, different karma and different programming. People who are tied into xianity for example can be much more inclined to wallow and be eternal victims, even if they are angrier/fiery types of people. This also goes for people who have drug addictions and sedate themselves constantly.
