Motivation is only meant to get to started in general. Everyone who achieves great things gets there through discipline and good habits. The amount of time a habit takes to form based on a difficulty to reward ratio. The greater the reward the easier it is to form. The more difficult the habit the longer it takes to form. Really its a matter of committing to something and setting aside a time and you could try working it into a currently existing routine. Start small, meditating 5min a day for a week, then add a minute every following week; this adds up pretty quick (57min by years end). Motivation is fleeting and requires more effort to maintain than training with discipline. If my memory is correct, 0.2% improvement daily translates into 100% improvement by the end of the year and this is called the slight edge. Small incremental improvements through discipline is the secret to success (at least one of them).
