Who do you want to protect yourself from? The Gods do not harm you. They are Gods, not enemies and not "bad guys", in fact it is offensive to think that they want to harm you. Regarding Satanas' enemy entities, focus on the Gods. If you get paranoid about the Enemy and things like that you will always be afraid of contacting the Gods. I see it like this.
