I had no problem with buying in dollar even if I have another currency on my bank account. It just convert it and subtracts the equivalent amount in my local currency.

Hello. Is your country not listed there? As far as I remember there is a list of countries where you can trade with people from your own and in your local currency.

I think you really need to have a bank account with a bank card to donate, i would also recommend to send a small amount of money in your first donation so you know everything works well.

Unfortunately indeed a bank account is more or less essential to buy crypto currency, unless bitcoin ATM machines can use cash as well (I am not sure as I never used). Another variant would be if you have a friend or someone you know who knows how cryptocurrency works and you can give them cash and buy crypto currency for you and send it into your crypto wallet.
